Enter the perfect world at
the garden, with a bunny hopping through the woods, notes
of love etched into the tree trunk, beautiful foliage and
flowers in full bloom. Look above and see the dove taking
flight |

A slight Turn to the left
brings you the experience of a breath taking waterfall and
yet more flowers in bloom at the base. With mountains in
the background
all just waiting to take you away to the perfect world. |

With a small turn to the left
again you will come into the forest where unsuspecting Eve
meets the serpent, Adam however is suspicious of the serpent
and the delicious red apples in the trees above and is
gently pulling Eve to him. |

Eve gestures to the Serpent
with a soft caress on the cheek.
With the serpent now in control Eve has tasted the
forbidden fruit. |

Moving to the left you pass
the Tree which Milton had visited and left his mark on and
the storm begins as the clouds in the sky roll in. Strikes
of lightening appear as a wasp takes flight. |

The once beautiful flowers in
bloom are now
Thistles. |

Yes, the bitten apple is inside |
|
|
Frogs are amongst the most playful
creatures on Earth, next to human children of course. They spend their
days leaping to and fro. If we had webbed feet, long hind legs, slippery
bodies and small brains, maybe we'd blissfully do the same. Notice the
more staid fish hiding under the lily pad away from the fray. This box
figurine is based on the pond near carver Neil Eyre's home. Cleverly,
the top of the piece offers a bird's eye view of the pond, while the
base shows a fish eye's view from below the pond's surface. Lest you
think the dizzying detail is purely aesthetic, peak inside. Humor awaits
you with a puckering frog.

Astrology can be heady stuff. The Moon
travels around Earth in 27 days, and since the effects of the Moon are so
profound to life, ancient Vedic astrologers divided the motion of the Moon
into 27 separate parts, or Mansions. 360 degrees divided into 27 days
gives the Moon about one day per Lunar Mansion. Each Mansion is ruled by a
planet, sometimes two, which is what gives the Mansions their different
characters. And since planetary ruler ship is based on the relationship of
the zodiac to the orbit of the Moon. . .huh? What's most relevant to your
box figurine is that it depicts all twelve signs of the Western zodiac,
with six astrological signs on the base and six on the lid. Should you
