to Eyre Designs "Eyreloom" Collection. The Eyreloom
 Collection are
select pieces chosen by Neil Eyre to be produced in Bronze Marble resin
castings or a brand New Hand Painted by Neil effect we are calling
Metallic overlays.
The
process of the Metallic overlay finishes is 4 different layers of shading
applied by Neil with a final hand polish all completed in Neil's small studio. The
overlay pieces will be in very small numbered releases and will be added into
the Eyreloom
series as "Archive and New" release finishes. The
First release in the Overlay experimental
finish is George the Dragon. Which is available
exclusively from Fin-Alley Gifts. You can see this
First release on our main creations page under Dealer Exclusives. The
next release in the overlay finish will be Sea of Dreams as a LE of just 6.
Here is a sample of What a Hoot complete in the Overlay process using a copper based
finish process.
Each piece in the Bronze casts are cast in the UK using a single mould process
along with the finest UK Marble and Bronze Resins available, they are then hand finished and hand polished by the finest craftspeople
from one of the oldest and most experienced companies in the Marble Resin field.
Each piece
in both collections provides the true look of Bronze and Antique heirlooms and over time
will achieve a slight green patina of verdigris. This effect is
 due to the
copper content with in the mixtures of resins.
The Eyreloom Collection pieces will not exceed 12 in any
release in Bronze resin casts and in Metallic Finishes overlay finishes
each will be announced.
The end result is just stunning and
breathtaking as you will see on this site. Each piece also comes with a "C.O.A"
Certificate of Authenticity card signed by Neil and the Marble Resin Bronze
pieces have a felt bottom to prevent damage
to the piece.
